That’s why any article that you submit to article directories has to be based on a subject on which you have a web page. If you don’t, then your article is a waste. It will do nothing for you.

The majority of my web sites are designed in this fashion. They are mini-sites and all they contain are a sales letter and order form.

Content sites have a place. They can be used to draw traffic and visitors. People will link to a content site. Search engines will index a content site much easier than they will a sales letter.

All this traffic can be produced for free (although you will do a lot of work to produce the content).

Then you can get these visitors to sign up for an email newsletter OR drive them to your mini-site sales letters. The content site is never the purpose of your business. It is just a traffic generating mechanism that you use to push visitors to your sales letters.

In this section you may include up to 2 links to your website, minisite, blog, etc. These links may have a keyword rich anchor and are DoFollow (most of the time). Each domain that you are promoting should have about 40+ articles (if you're trying to get the highest serp possible. 40 articles is a lot of writing no matter how ya swing it, but I've found that reviewing a product is probably the easiest way to go.

Imagine that you write an article and it gets submitted to 500 article directories (some with high PR and link juice). Those 500 sites now link to you with a very relevant keyword anchor. This brings you valuable free traffic in two ways:

1. The more backlinks you have, the higher your site will position on the search engines (serps).
2. A quality article brings you "the author" visits to your blog from the links included in the about the author section.

Submitting Articles the Easy Way
If you're serious about Article Marketing you'll want to have your articles submitted automatically to article directories for you (time is money). I've used three services for this.

The first (and best) would be Article Marketer. Article Marketer is a subscription based service (it costs $50.00 / Quarter or $160 per year) for unlimited article submissions to 5000 + article directories. Article Marketer reviews your article in 1-2 days (other services can take up to 15 days) and informs you of any potential issues with your article before distribution begins. Article Marketer will not distribute your article until it meets certain criteria. Article Marketer provides you with distribution and exposure reports as well, which are really nice because you want to see what you're paying for frankly.

The second one is called iSnare. iSnare.com will register you at about 500 directories and automatically submit your article to them automatically for 2 dollars per article. iSnare takes about 5 days to review your article and is not as thorough as Article Marketer. As long as your article has 400 words they'll push it out. That may sound good, but it isn't. Make Easy Website Navigation

Navigation is how visitors get around your site. If your navigation is unclear then your visitors will get frustrated and go away. If they do that, you'll make a lot less money with your website.

So the goal with website navigation is to make it clear and consistent. I prefer a simple navigation strategy. Keep it simple for humans and it will be fine for Google.

In general, my sites work like this.

The home page is optimized for my main keyword phrase. That's what I call my tier 1 phrase. My tier 1 page links to my tier 2 pages via a navigation bar. Tier 2 phrases are those keyword phrases that tend to be natural groups for all of your other keywords.
If you have a site on dog training and six or seven good keyword phrases that have to do with training Yorkies, then your tier 2 phrase for that group would be something like "training Yorkies." It's been shown that navigation bars down the left-hand side of the page work best. Although, I do have a number of smaller sites with navigation bars across the top.

The tier 2 pages link to the tier 3 pages, but not through the navigation bar. The tier 3 pages are your most specific pages. Continuing with the Yorkie example, the tier 3 pages might be something like "housebreaking Yorkies", "walking Yorkies," or "teaching Yorkies to do tricks." It's been shown to be best if your tier 3 pages are linked to through text links in a tier 2 page.

I've seen a lot of sites that have the navigation both along the side and across the top. Don't do that! It's nothing if not confusing!

If you're going to use a WordPress blog for your site, then the navigation is already taken care of. What I do is have really major categories on buttons across the top (normal blog format) and then use the "Categories" box for finer divisions, or use text links from the pages. I usually let the buttons across the top go to tier 2 pages and navigate out from there via text links. For housekeeping type pages like a site map or terms of service, I create a quick, text-based navigation bar in the footer.

You don't have to do things this way. These are just the best practices.

The issue here is making it easy for your visitors. When it's your site, it's sometimes hard to see what's confusing for people who are not as familiar with it as you are.

Ten Web Design DONT's (For the Graphic Designer)

1. Don't start a layout without having a concept/idea.

Before starting, ask yourself: who am I designing this for? What are the target's preferences? How am I going to make this better than the client's competition? What will be my central "theme"? Would it revolve around a certain color, a certain style? Will it be clean, grungy, traditional, modern etc? What will be the "wow factor"?

Then, before jumping to your favorite part - laying everything out in Photoshop, right? - take a sheet of paper and sketch your idea. This will help you organize the elements better and get a general idea of whether an idea would work or not, before you invest too much time designing in Photoshop.

2. Don't obsess over the trends.

Shiny buttons, reflections, gradients, swirls and swooshes, grungy elements - all these are staples in contemporary web design. But with just about everything else, moderation is key. If you make everything shiny, you will end up just giving your visitor an eye sore. When everything is an accent, nothing stand out anymore.

3. Don't make everything of equal importance

Egalitarianism is desirable in society, but it doesn't apply to the elements on your web page. If all your headlines are the same level and all the pictures the same height, your visitor will be confused. You need to direct their sight to the page elements in a certain order - the order of importance. One headline must be the main headline, while the others will subordinate. Make one picture stand out (in the header, maybe) and keep the others smaller. If you have more than one menu on the page, decide which one is the most important and attract the visitor's view to it. Create a hierarchy. There are many ways in which you can control the order in which a visitor "reads" a web page.

4. Don't lose sight of the functionality

Don's just use elements because they are pretty - give them a legitimate place in your design. In other words, don't design for yourself (unless you are designing your own websites, of course), but for your customer and your customer's customers.

5. Don't repeat yourself too much and too often

It's easy to get tricked into reusing your own elements of design, especially once you got to master them to perfection. But you don't want your portfolio to look like it was created for the same client, do you? Try different fonts, new types of arrows, borders styles, layer effects, color schemes. Find alternatives to your go-to elements. Impose yourself to design the next layout without a header. Or without using glossy elements. Break your habits and keep your style diverse.

6. Don't disregard the technology.

If you're not the one coding the website, talk to your programmer and find out how the website will be implemented. If it's going to be all Flash, then you want to take advantage of the great possibilities for the design and not make it look like a standard HTML page. On the other hand, if the website will be dynamic and database-driven, you don't want to get too unconventional with the design and make the programmer's job impossible.

7. Don't mix and match different design elements to please your client.

Instead, offer your expertise: explain how different elements look great in a certain context but don't work in another one or in combination with other elements. That's not to say that you shouldn't listen to your client. Take into account all their suggestion, but do it to their best interest. If what they suggest doesn't work design-wise, offer arguments and alternatives.

8. Don't use the same boring stock photos like everyone else

The happy customer support representative, the successful (and political correct) business team, the powerful young leader - they are just a few of the stock photography industry's clichés. They are sterile, and most of the time look so fake that will reflect the same idea over the company. Instead, try using "real people", or search harder for creative and expressive stock photographs.

9. Don't try to reinvent the wheel

Being creative is in your job description, but don't try to get creative with the things that shouldn't change. With a content heavy or a portal-style website, you want to keep the navigation at the top or at the left. Don't change the names for the standard menu items or for things like the shopping cart or the wishlist. The more time a visitor needs to find what they are looking for, then more likely it is they will leave the page. You can bend these rules when you design for other creatives - they will enjoy the unconventional elements. But as a general rule, don't do it for other customers.

10. Don't be inconsistent

Stick with the same fonts, borders, colors, alignments for the entire website, unless you have strong reasons not to do so (i.e. if you color-code different sections of the website, or if you have an area dedicated to children, where you need to use different fonts and colors). A good practice is to set up a grid system and build all the pages of the same level in accordance with it. Consistency of elements gives the website a certain image that visitors will become familiar with.

2008 Web Site Design - What Doesn't and What Works

Let me say this right at the beginning. There are as many opinions about what makes a good web site as there are web sites. I doubt that anyone has ever said, "I think I will put up an ugly web site that does not work", although I have visited some that make me wonder.

American architect, Louis Sullivan, popularized the phrase, "Form follows function" and turned it into the 'first commandment' of designers, everywhere. Of course Sullivan was designing skyscrapers, not web sites, but the principle still holds true. It does not matter whether you pay a top designer mega-bucks to create your site, or whether you create it yourself. You must know exactly what you want your site to do for you before you begin.

A beautiful web page with all the bells and whistles is a waste of your time and/or money if it does not work. On the other hand, an extremely simple page, put together in a few minutes with a free, WYSIWYG program can be a perfect web site, if it does everything you want it to do. If you publish a simple, one page web site that makes you a fortune, the experts will applaud you as a genius for using an elegant, minimalist approach. Of course, if it does not make you a fortune, those same experts will say, "What did you expect? It's ugly"!

Of course, if Louis Sullivan's first skyscraper had fallen down, we would not know that form follows function and I would not even be writing this article. So, my hat is off to good design.

OK, how do you avoid some of the common pitfalls?

    * If you are selling a product, know that product inside and out. You cannot sell a product you haven't tried yourself. At least you should not.
    * Know what you want from the visitors to your web site. Do you want them to buy, immediately? Do you want them to opt-in to your newsletter, or e-mail campaign?
    * Know where you want your visitors to go when they leave your home page. Do you want to redirect them to another page? Another site? To their in-box to eagerly await your e-mail? Make sure you have the right links to get your visitors to where you want them to go and that they all work.
    * Before you begin, know the "mood" you want to establish on your page. Even if you love Rap, don't use Rap music as a background to a site selling gravestones, unless you have decided that your best customers are going to be Gang Bangers.
    * Do not confuse your visitors with useless gadgets and widgets. Keep them focused.

If you know your product, know what you want from your visitors and know how you want to approach them, form will follow function and the experts will call you a GURU, whatever that is.

Meta Tags details

Meta tags first appeared and where used in web design in the 1990s. Meta tags where initially created in order to make sense of the increasing number of web pages listed on search engines. However the popularity of Meta tags quickly began to shrink. The reason? Unethical webmasters.

Some of the more unscrupulous webmasters began abusing the keyword Meta Tag, overloading this tag with unrelated and sometimes immoral keywords, for example someone operating a pornographic website would enter keywords unrelated to their industry in order for their site to appear for totally unrelated searches, this in particular caused outrage when juvenile and underage children where exposed to adult material when searching for totally unrelated subjects.

Obviously this was wrong and one by one, the major search engines discontinued the use of Meta tags as part of their main website indexing criteria. Google disregarded Meta tags altogether, however several search engines that still read Meta tags, giving some weight to the argument that they play a part in the placement of your website within search engines, (Google will still look at your description tag).

There are still a few Meta tags that add value to your website, and I believe they are still worth spending a small amount of time on to get right. The Meta tags that are worth getting correct I will describe in detail in this article, however in brief some of the more worthwhile tags that are of use and can prove to be good for website organisation are;

Meta Content Type - Declares the character set, Always use this tag along with the DTD declaration format from the World Wide Web Consortium. Failure to do so may cause display problems. For example, this tag helps properly display the page.

Meta Author Tag - declares the author of the webpage or website, this tag is optional. This tag can be of use to track the content author for the website, especially if there is more than one web author. This tag has no bearing for your search engine ranking, but it is known as a ystandardy Meta Tag.

Meta Copyright - To include copyright, trademark, patent or other information pertaining to intellectual property (shouldn't use this instead of a copyright notice that is visible on the Web page)

Meta Content Language y Used to declare the language of the document.

Meta Description y Gives a description of the web page that appears under the title of the yserpsy (search engine results page) for your website. This tag consists of a short, plain language description of the document, usually 20-25 words or less, anymore and the crawler making its way through your site will stop indexing the tag.

Meta Keywords- Many website owners or web designers tend to leave this tag out nowadays believing it to have no relevance to page rank or search engine listing. However I believe this tag still has some relevance no matter how small.

The following Meta tags provide information to the web server, web crawlers or robots and web browsers that visit web site or web page - the browsers and servers can take action based on the Meta tags and content within.

Meta cache-control - Control how your pages are cached. The options you have are: public - allows the page to be cached; private - the page may only be cached in private caches; no-cache - the page should never be cached; no-store - the page may be cached but not archived.

Meta expires - If the content of your page has an expiration date, you can specify this in your meta data. This is most often used by servers and browsers that cache content. If the content is expired, they will load the page from the server rather than the cache.

Meta Pragma No Cache - Developed and used to prevent visitors from seeing a cached version of a specific page. This tag forces the browser to pull information from the server each time the page is viewed.

Meta robots - Created to control search engine robots on a per-page basis. This tag tells the Web robots whether they are allowed to index and archive this Web page. You can include any or all of the following keywords to control what the robots do. The robots can do anything on the page; none - robots can do nothing; index - robots should include this page in the index; noindex - robots should not include this page in the index; follow - robots should follow the links on this page; nofollow - robots should not follow links on this page

The best file format for saving images on the web all depends on the image itself. Depending on the image, it can be saved as a compressed gif, jpg, or png file. In this article, compressed format is used to reduce file size for uploading, downloading, and opening a web page. File size has everything to do with the speed of how fast a web page can open, including photographs or images.

Gif format

Gif stands for graphic interchange format. It is the standard format for compressing images with sharp detail and flat colors or few colors, such as logos, vector line drawings, types, and animation. Gif is a LZW-compressed format that helps to minimize the file size. It is commonly used to show index-color and images in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) documents for the world wide web (WWW) and other services online. Gif supports transparency in indexed-color images but does not support alpha channels. The file size is very small compared to jpg or png.

JPEG format

Jpeg or jpg stands for joint Photographic Experts Group, is commonly used for saving photographs and other continuous-tone images in HTML documents over the WWW and other online services. It supports CMYK, RGB, and Grayscale color modes, and does not support alpha channels. The file size is much larger than the gif. A higher level of compression results in lower image quality and vise versa. It is advisable to back up the original file as a psd file in Photoshop to preserve the all layers and files being compressed.

PNG8 optimization options

PNG8 format compresses solid areas of color and preserves sharp detail like the Gif format. Both file format support 8bit color, so they can display up to 256 colors. Indexing is a process of determining which colors should be used so images in GIF and PNG8 formats are sometimes called indexed color images. Photoshop is able to build a color lookup table, which collects and indexes the colors in the image. The color is matched as closely to the image by choosing either the color, simulating, or using a combination of available colors to match the images.

Saving image files for the web requires compression to reduce file sizes. It is wise to back up the original files before editing the images. If Photoshop is used for editing, always save a copy or the original file as the default .psd to preserve separate layers and images from being compressed.

1 By being told about it - this you can do by registering your site with the search Engine and, eventually, it will send a spider out to visit it.

2 By visiting a Web Site from a link that has been established from another Web Site that it knows about and regularly visits.

The First Rule, therefore, is to register your Web Site with all the major search engines and to begin to develop reciprocal links with other complimentary web sites. The more links you have coming in to your site the more important it must be in the eyes of the spider!

What do the Spiders look for when they visit a site?

Contrary to popular belief, they do not all look for 'keywords' - for instance the Excite, Lycos and Google spiders ignore keywords almost altogether - no amount of conjuring with keywords will get your site to the top 20 in these search engines. What will get your site higher in the ratings is the of the site and the of the site. You can check out what the and of the site are by selecting View, Source in the menu bar of your Web Browser - this shows you what the spider, not the visitor, sees.

The Second Rule, therefore, is not to call your site by the name of the company ( as most businesses do) unless your company name is so well known that everyone will search for it, or the name of your company says what you do quite clearly and unambiguously. Anyone searching for electric cars and vehicles would find your site at the top of the list, or very close. Whereas if the site were called 'ABC Electronics Limited' it would come much lower in the Search Engine listings, if at all, unless someone searched for 'ABC Electronics Limited' and, bear in mind, the intention of the Internet is to reach a wider audience - if they knew who you were, wouldn't they have already contacted you by other means?

Therefore the single most important part of marketing your site is getting the right. However the preceding sentence is written in invisible ink and most businesses will continue to ignore this simple fact.

The Third Rule is to beware of 'frames' within your web site, particularly the first page, since some of the spiders can only index what is inside the top frame and not the links you would like it to in the main frame.

If you need to use frames as a navigation tool then consider using a 'portal' , or 'doorway', page, or one without a frame, as the first, or entry, page of your site. This, at least, should be identified by all the relevant search engines. You would then link this page to the framed pages on your main site. This may result in some of the Search engines only listing one of the pages on your site, however that is a price you may have to pay.

The Fourth Rule is to ensure that the of the site, in particular the first paragraph of text on the page, contains some of the keywords and / or phrases that your prospective customer will be searching for.

There are some technicalities to observe, such as repeating the keywords within the between 3 and 7 times is optimum. Any more than that and the spiders will penalise you and possibly ignore your site altogether, any less than that and you are not taking full advantage of the spiders totally logical process.

Avoid having repetitive text the same colour as the background in the hope of fooling the spider - this is a myth and will result in the spider banning you from the search engine!

So, for the Electronics Company example above. If the text was to the effect 'Formed in 1985 ABC Electronics is based in Andover, Hampshire, close to the M5, etc. etc.' the spider will not find the words Electric Cars and Vehicles in the and therefore reduce your rating.

The Fifth Rule is to understand and develop the sites Tags.

Also, it may be useful to include a ridiculous such as 'agriptanch', why? Because when you need to find out if your site is registered with a based search engine you simply search on 'agriptanch' and if your site is registered up it comes. If not you may have to re-register it.

The next step is to take a calculated gamble and opt for one of the following methods of using the keywords:

Target vs. Blanket

This is deciding whether or not to use a series of keywords that will cover everything anyone could possibly type in when looking for your product or service, or taking the gamble and knowing what he or she will type in and just put that as a keyword or phrase.

So, for example, if you dealt with a specific subject such as Sea Fishing then you may use just that phrase knowing that the majority of people who were searching for you would type that in as their query.

Target will bring you higher on a search engine listing but you have to be certain that people will search for exactly that word, or phrase.

Blanket covers a larger list of key words you will therefore be listed in more categories but lower on the listings for each, since the density is lower.

Go to File

Looking at the Spider web marketing system and how it is taking out the guesswork from networking and multilevel marketing. What strikes me the most about the spiderweb marketing system is that is taking the modern and available avenues in order to have it's members be able to duplicate the steps and start off successfully within the networking business world. I have seen results with the spiderweb marketing system at the beta stage which leaves me wondering.....Hmmmm......?

But it doesn't stop there. In order to promote the ebook, you need a lot of supporting items. For one thing, you need a sales page for your ebook. The home-based business industry is continuously evolving and Internet Marketing has become key to building a successful network marketing business. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned entrepreneur, it is an on-going process of learning, training and growing.

One great truth is that there are no overnight successes in this industry, yet the level and rate of success can be much greater than a traditional brick and mortar business, franchise or corporate career.

Below you will read about elements of success including Internet Marketing.

Make and prioritize a to do list. Take the biggest task of the day and do that first. Many believe that multitasking is a great skill. There is no genius in multitasking. Multitasking is attempting to do two or more things at the same time. What we end up doing is one thing at at time as fast as we can and in doing so we exhaust our energy, lessen our concentration and are less effective.

When we learn to focus our undivided attention on one thing at a time, we learn to be more productive.

Schedule your time. This involves saying no to some things. The freedom of being home for your family or having more time to yourself is beyond measure, yet there is work time and it must be separated from family or leisure time. Make a space and schedule to work without interruption. Only allow interruption for emergencies.

Avoid Overwhelm. I was told by my daughter that overwhelm is not a noun and that I was grammatically incorrect. I said, "Overwhelming situations can be so big that it becomes a thing, making it a noun." Overwhelm is sneaky and unrecognized by its victims. If you constantly answer your cell phone because you won't wait to review your messages later, then you probably have a symptom of overwhelm.

If your stress level is over the chart then you are a victim of overwhelm.

Remember, we can only process one thing at a time.

Be careful not to take on too many projects.

Paralysis of analysis is also a must to recognize and avoid. If you feel a need to have everything perfectly placed in order for your network marketing business to take off and/or continue to grow, then take note.

Over thinking every single move leads to confusion, confusion leads to exhaustion, and exhaustion leads to paralysis of analysis. There are many success stories that began from ignorance on fire. They didn't immediately have all the answers but they figured it out along the way.

You don't have to know or understand it all in order to grow. Move on my friend.

Modeling success is necessary for learning success. Find accomplished people and do like they do. In the process tweak it to your own style. All great thinkers have been influenced by other great thinkers. Successful people combine what they learn to create their own unique talent.

Commit to your success. A commitment never quits. Even the best of the best have obstacles. What sets them apart is that they are clear on their desire and are committed to the end result. When challenges appear, refer to paralysis of analysis... Keep on moving on.

I can write an entire book on spiritual principles. It is the least understood yet the most powerful element of success. Do what you do for the Greater Good. Leave something that encourages this planet to become a better place. Be sincere... don't make it about your own agenda. In the network marketing industry we succeed by helping others succeed.

Live your life to give... not to take, then abundance will seek you out and find you.

This doesn't mean allowing yourself to be trampled on. Don't confuse this as being submissive, just come from a place that is giving and you will receive. Remember, you don't have to understand it all in order to grow.

In my opening statement I mentioned that Internet Marketing is an essential element of success for the network marketer. By leveraging the power of the Internet you can open the floodgates for your network marketing business.

A proven system along with training and support will set the foundation to a network that spreads like an epidemic. All successful franchises operate by a proven system that can be taught to anyone willing to learn. The same is true in the network marketing industry.

There are many resources that can assist you in making your business viral. Some of these resources already have systems in place that will educate you and help establish you as an expert. While others offer the training and you figure out your own system through trial and error. When looking for these resources always use your discernment and do your due diligence.

Focus your efforts on duplicating a solid system, teach your team to do the same, follow the principles above and reap your fruition.

The Meaning "Work From Home" Has Changed

When America was an agrarian society, the family lived together and worked together. Only when the children went off to school was the unit broken up. Since this was the majority of the people, it meant the majority of families worked together - all day every day.

The shop owners, the storekeepers, the people working in factories - before the industrial revolution at least - were very much in the minority. And even then, some families lived in an apartment above the shop that they owned, or perhaps in the quarters behind the store. Still, they all worked together.
Is this massive surge toward working out of the home something new and revolutionary? Or are we simply returning to our roots? To a more family-centered, less stressful lifestyle?

Working From Home.
At one time, working from home meant carrying home a briefcase full of "work" that needed attention which could not be completed at the office. In another scenario, working from home meant the corporation allowed the employee to "log on" from their home computer and complete a number of their duties from the house.
For the women, a home-based business meant you were probably a Mary Kay consultant, and Avon rep, or you held Tupperware parties in your living room.

Perhaps the accountant in your neighborhood might have his or her office in the home. Some realtors worked out of a home office. And if you happened to personally know a full-time author, that would account for another home-based business.

There you go. That was about it. No one thought much more about it. A home-based business was not what everybody was "hankering" for. In fact, if someone seriously wanted to leave "corporate America" the choice was not necessarily to "work from home," but rather to launch out into a solely owned business which might start in the home (garage or basement) but was definitely aimed for bigger things - like a store or factory.

The Vehicle for Change
So what changed?
Several things. A few of the more obvious are: layoffs, downsizing, price of gas, lack of corporate loyalty to employees, moms weary of the grind of juggling work and family, dads weary of the stress of corporate life, parents disturbed over lack of family time. Those are the obvious surface things that have fueled the desire to work from home.

However, the biggest factor which has changed even the definition of home-based business has been technology! Now when people even mention "home-based business," they do not picture some housewife sorting her Avon inventory. The first thought will have some connection to the Internet!
While the motivation to seek out a home-based business may vary from person to person - less stress, more quality family time, escape from a demanding boss, quieter lifestyle - still and yet the vehicle making it all possible is, without question, the Internet.
Online business opportunities have seen an explosion of exponential growth in recent years. There is network marketing, internet marketing, internet businesses, direct sales and myriads of other online money-making programs now available.

Selling Skills For Network Marketing

For most of you that are new to selling these skills may be foreign to you. It is my experience in my down line that network marketers lack the necessary selling skills to be successful. Why is this? Most network marketers do not come from a selling background; therefore it is not a tool that they use every day. Most network marketers are taught to have someone else make the sale for you with a 3-way call. This is not the way top earners do it. Well let's take a look a brief look at how the top Network Marketers run a call. In following posts I will drive deeper into to each stage.

Stage 1 is the preliminary, this is the get to know you stage. This is where you need to build rapport. Most sales people will tell you that the most sales begin and end with in the first 2 minutes. The first impression is very important. You must come across successful, not arrogant. If a prospect gets the feeling that they are going to be sold they will walk away

Stage 2 is investigating. This is the most important part of the sales call for network marketing. For me this should last anywhere from 20-30 minutes. This is where you qualify if this is a person you want on your team. Ask questions such as Why do you want to get into Network Marketing? When they answer as most people do Money, Ask something to the effect of why would that Be important to you. The object of this is to find their real motivations. And continue drive deeper. I will have more potential questions a later post

Stage 3 is demonstrating that you can help them. Show them your solution always driven at what they said to you in the investigative stage. Network marketers are always told I you can get reach, and are never shown how. This is usually where I get them up on WebEx and show them the tools and support that my opportunity offers. You must demonstrate that you are different then all the rest. If done properly they sell themselves.

Stage 4 the last stage is only successful when you have done the other stages correctly. It is obtaining commitment. You most always gain some sort of commitment, because you must get a sale or setup another time to meet, and guess what it is all right for that commitment to be no. You don't want ever body. But try to find out their real reason they are not interested.

For the first time in history the internet has leveled the playing and field and anyone can now be successful IF they learn how to harness its power. Most people are ignorant to the fact that the marketing system IS the most important factor in any network marketing business.

4. I didn't quit. Network marketing is full of quitters. It's the "easy come easy go" syndrome. People figure that since they only put a couple hundred bucks down that it really doesn't matter what happens. I guarantee you that if you bought a McDonald's for a million dollars you would care about what happens. In fact, you would do everything in your power to make sure it was a success. Why should network marketing be any different? There is unlimited income potential and no overhead. People need to give their head a shake... network marketing is worth NOT quitting for.

5. I invested in my business. Wow... I actually invested in my business. It amazes me how many network marketers treat their business like it is some sort of lottery ticket. People invest in all kinds of things such as real estate, stocks, companies, etc. So why on earth would someone not be willing to invest in a business with unlimited income potential and no overhead? Whatever you put into network marketing is what you'll get out of it. Don't be deceived... every successful network marketer has invested time and money into their business.

6. I took ACTION. So many people join a MLM company and never take action. They don't start promoting their business. How can a business grow without exposure? You've heard the saying in real estate, "Location, Location, Location". Well, in network marketing it is, "Exposure, Exposure, Exposure". And by the time you re finished reading, we promise that a little bulb will go off in your head that says, Hey! This is so simple! Why didn't I see it before? We still remember how that felt, so let s get started.
First things first. The reason for our title phrase Paralysis by Analysis should be obvious. But in case you re wondering what it has to do with affiliate niche marketing, let us explain.

Regardless what we do in life to earn our living, whether a profession or sales or retail or medicine or education or (well, you get the picture), a common thread that weaves through most of us is a certain level of hesitancy when we decide to try something new for additional income or to get away from the 9-t0-5 grind. Look at your decision (recently or some time ago) to try affiliate niche marketing. You knew there are people making money online, and a few are even making stupid money. Affiliate marketing is not easy. There, I said it. Anybody who says it is, is smoking that funny stuff. Personally, I finish in the top 20 of every affiliate promotion I enter, and that's going up against some of the big boys. Why? Because I avoid these three common mistakes.

At the very top of the list is the actual choice of product to promote. Sometimes I think affiliate marketers play pin the tail on the donkey when it comes to choosing a product. Just put on the old blindfold, spin yourself around, and then point and click. A little thought process should go into picking a product to promote. And no, picking the top product in the Clickbank marketplace is NOT the best way to go about it. Your competition is going to be astronomical and more likely than not, you'll get nowhere.

But it doesn't just end with picking a product. How you promote it is equally as important if not more so. And this is where my second tip gets beaten to a pulp by so many lazy marketers. The common practice goes something like this. Email the product creator and ask him if he has any pre-written ads that you can use. Can you guess why this is just plain dumb? Well, if everybody is using the same ads, how is anybody going to stand out from the crowd? This way, making a sale literally becomes a crap shoot. I don't know about you, but that's not the way I want to run MY business.

Finally, there's making sure that the product you choose to promote isn't going to end up turning your reputation into a dust bowl. Some marketers don't care about this and will promote just about anything, but if you end up promoting a product that is a piece of junk, do you really think that the people who bought it from you are going to buy anything else from you again?
