Selling Skills For Network Marketing

For most of you that are new to selling these skills may be foreign to you. It is my experience in my down line that network marketers lack the necessary selling skills to be successful. Why is this? Most network marketers do not come from a selling background; therefore it is not a tool that they use every day. Most network marketers are taught to have someone else make the sale for you with a 3-way call. This is not the way top earners do it. Well let's take a look a brief look at how the top Network Marketers run a call. In following posts I will drive deeper into to each stage.

Stage 1 is the preliminary, this is the get to know you stage. This is where you need to build rapport. Most sales people will tell you that the most sales begin and end with in the first 2 minutes. The first impression is very important. You must come across successful, not arrogant. If a prospect gets the feeling that they are going to be sold they will walk away

Stage 2 is investigating. This is the most important part of the sales call for network marketing. For me this should last anywhere from 20-30 minutes. This is where you qualify if this is a person you want on your team. Ask questions such as Why do you want to get into Network Marketing? When they answer as most people do Money, Ask something to the effect of why would that Be important to you. The object of this is to find their real motivations. And continue drive deeper. I will have more potential questions a later post

Stage 3 is demonstrating that you can help them. Show them your solution always driven at what they said to you in the investigative stage. Network marketers are always told I you can get reach, and are never shown how. This is usually where I get them up on WebEx and show them the tools and support that my opportunity offers. You must demonstrate that you are different then all the rest. If done properly they sell themselves.

Stage 4 the last stage is only successful when you have done the other stages correctly. It is obtaining commitment. You most always gain some sort of commitment, because you must get a sale or setup another time to meet, and guess what it is all right for that commitment to be no. You don't want ever body. But try to find out their real reason they are not interested.
